I recently had the pleasure of dealing with Patrick and staff at Silverstar Automotive Solutions. I was having a recurring problem with a check engine light that kept coming on. Prior to bringing my car to Silverstar, I requested pricing on two specific repair jobs that had previously been completed by my nephew ( a licensed mechanic, who can no longer work on cars due to a medical issue). I had my nephew review the quotes I got and he suggested that the prices given were what he would have charged for the same work. Based on that, I felt confident in bringing my car to Silverstar. In the end, my issue was resolved well within the budget I had given Silverstar. Furthermore, Patrick even gave me a discount on some work that I had requested be done to my vehicle. I will certainly be bringing my car back here for future repairs.

I keep coming back for the fantastic service! Pat, the owner, is very personable and easy to talk to. He's willing to explain any detail you like and he does his best to do what you need in order to keep your vehicle safe and operating. He won't oversell you or try to sell something you don't need. Silverstar is an honest business that will treat you right in hope that you'll come back.

As a woman, it isn't always easy to find a mechanic you can trust & are comfortable with. At Silverstar I have found this; Pat & his team are professional, trustworthy & very accommodating. Just had service done on my car which was considerably less than the estimate given, greatly appreciated! Terrific service; I would & have recommended Silverstar to friends. Thank you!

I see a lot of comments on here like you go for oil change and he tells you that you need 800$ worth of work done I went there for a power steering line it cost me 4$ to replace it myself or if I went with him he wanted to charge me 895$ for it to be done this guy pulls numbers out his ass he also told me that by replacing the small line that he was gonna end up breaking more things that would cost me extra so the very poor performance from this shop kept me from going back there ever again I went there once for a a break line fix and started reccomending this place to everyone but after the second visit yea I don't recommend anyone to go it's a buyer beware kinda deal i went there last year so idk how he is now but I still refuse to go

It was very bad experience.. I went to oil change because of $ 24.99 .. owner called me and said your car oil change is done.. I went to pick up the car .. I was there and he told me you have to fix this and that .. he handed over to me paper saying its gonna cost me somewhere $ 800 .. I told him I don't have that kinda of money now and maybe I will do it next time ( i wanted to just walk away) .. most dangerous part is I was driving my car more than 3 km and I saw oil change sign was on ...i drove back to this guy and asked why my oil change sign is on and I FOUND OUT THEY DRAINED THE OLD OIL BUT DIDN'T FILL NEW OIL . I was driving my car 6 km without oil ...very bad experience

Never bring your car where they advertise $24.99 Oil Changes. There is a very obvious catch. They want to sell you something you don't need. I was dealing with PAT or the "owner" and he told me I need nearly $900 in repairs. I got nervous so I went back to Tony Graham Toyota on Hunt Club Road and they told me I needed NOTHING but an oil change. Tony Graham Toyota Sales Rep told me "buyer beware" when you go for oil changes for "24.99" at a very small "2 bay" repair shops, all they want to do is sell you repairs you don't need. Very very happy I went direct to Toyota vs trusting PAT @ his little repair shop

Three E's and an F for me stand for Energetic, Elemental, Entrusted and Friendly. Patrick and his Staff here at SilverStar are all this and more. I recently moved into the neighbourhood and decided to give SilverStar a chance to win my business and trust. My truck needed a new muffler and the growl and smell were grating on my nerves. I was in the midst of planning a canoe trip with a friend so I asked Patrick to give me his best estimate to replace it. Immediately he priced out the work, described the process, as I'm not very mechanically inclined, but like to know how things work and decided to go ahead. I gave him my keys and drove off on the canoe trip with my friend, returning to pick up the truck two days later. Upon my return the muffler was fixed, carried a warranty and purred. A week later a family members car needed a flat fixed and upon examining all the tires we determined that it made more sense to put new rubber all the way round. We decided to practice, some more much needed due diligence and along with the new tires that Patrick sourced for a very reasonable price, he found highly rated ones as well. SilverStar also flushed out and replaced the fluids in the engine, radiator, transmission, brakes and all the air filters. Finding mould in the cabin air filter they washed out the casing and installed a new air filter. Both vehicles now carry a warranty on parts and service and as amazing as this may sound SilverStar has sourced a very good warranty for the car as it's kilometres were under the limit and eligible. Their mindset is to "pay it forward" a philosophy I find very grounding and friendly. Energetic, Elemental, Entrusted and Friendly!

Very bad experience with the garage. Unreliable and just very bad customer service. Would not recommend. Even 1 star is too much for them.

I was there on march 1 2017 and they did an oil change but the also do a free i inspection of the car and make a list and tell me what needs to be done and far price will go back again

Have worked with Pat Graham for many years... always does a great job. Highly recommended.
