Love my "new to me" car! 2013 Subaru Legacy SE 3.6R 6 cylinder boxer engine!!! This is the second time going to Ottawa for a car! It was certainly better service in all aspects! Patrick will take care of everything for you! Thanks so much Silverstar Automotive!! All you have to do is pay and leave!!! I love my Subaru! She's a bit snow dirty, and runs great!

Went in with what seemed like clear alternator issue, battery not holding the charge. I asked them to check everything, particularly the alternator. They just swapped the battery and said everything else was 100% fine. Car worked briefly, then battery issue returned. When I called for help again, they said its probably an alternator issue! **For clarification: the car I had serviced I use very infrequently, as I use my commercial vehicle predominantly. After only a few uses issues began, and when I called for assistance Silverstar expected me to pay for a second tow to their shop. Beware.

Robert, it's unfortunate you feel that way. The battery we replaced for you in November 2019 was the issue at the time. Not the alternator. If the issue had been the alternator in November and we had only replaced the battery then your car would have run for a very short time. Certainly not two months. This is the first time we have heard from you since the original repair. We can only presume that the car had run well for the last two months, until hearing from you January 2020.
